Ellzey & Associates Obtains FLSA Verdict in Western District of Texas

After a well-defended battle against an established labor firm, we got a nice win for two plaintiffs against the exotic dance club Yellow Rose. The damages received the full amount of damages requested from the jury, including all back minimum wages, all coerced tip-outs, and all illegal house fees.

The three lawyer team consisting of Jarrett Ellzey, Leigh Montgomery, and California co-counsel, John Kristensen, presented a no-doubt case, according to the jurors after the verdict. I am very proud of our clients for standing up for themselves and the rights of other women who are in their positions today. Change does not come without a struggle, and they have fought for the last two years for this win.
